THE TRANSPARENT
WINERY
A “carving” in the hill, a terrace made of glass and steel with two openings, one inward and the other one outward: from the outside going to the inside, from the work in the wine rows to the secret of the barrels. An immersion into the culture of wine that becomes a landscape, and a landscape that becomes one with the production process.
THE STRUCTURE
Designed to have minimal landscape and environmental impact, the new cellar spreads on three floors. The first floor, on the outside, is a spacious terrace overlooking the vineyard, dedicated to hospitality and events. The second floor, is deeply immersive: steel and glass show the view of the vine rows and, at the same time, they also offer a glimpse to the inside of the cellar, where the steel tanks and the barrel room, lined in wood using boards from the Grand Hotel at San Pellegrino Terme (BG), can be seen.
This is where the tasting rooms and the kitchen are located, an experience that involves both sight and taste.
Lastly, the third floor, completely placed underground, is dedicated to the operations of the cellar, containing the fermentation tanks and aging barrels.
