THE TASTING

The experience is scheduled for 5pm and it lasts 2 hours. It includes an exclusive tasting moment of four labels from the Hic et Nunc Winery, paired with six fine oysters served in three different types. A unique event of its kind, in which the tradition and the unmistakable flavors of the wines of Monferrato are combined with the marine scents of the oysters. A journey in stages that will highlight the unprecedented collaboration between wine and oyster sommeliers, giving life to a sensory and engaging experience.
The wines of the tasting are:
- Spumante Brut Demimonde: produced using the Martinotti-Charmat method, this Brut has an elegantly fine perlage, a floral and fruity aromas and a fresh and a persistent flavor.
- Monbullae sparkling wine: our Classic Method Pas Dosé. A fine sparkling wine with character, elegant and rich. Intense and persistent bouquet of white flowers, citrus fruits and a light note of toasted hazelnut. In the mouth it is rich, creamy, silky and enveloping, savoury and with pleasant hints of almond.
- Monolite white wine: our Piemonte DOC Cortese, the symbol of purity in variety, respect for tradition. Rich, opulent, long-lived, well balanced between fruit and freshness, capable of ageing, fresh on the palate, with good levels of acidity, tangy and soft.
- Vino rosso Altromondo: an iconic Grignolino del Monferrato Casalese DOC, it offers a wonderful balance of tannin and fragrance, body and the most delicate of floral nuances. Fresh and fruity aromas, with notes of spices and fresh fruit.
The selection of oysters are:
- Fine d’Irlanda Eire: Raised in Ireland from a French oyster farming family of the Oléronaise house, thanks to its moderately low meat content it is very appreciated by a wide audience. It has a distinctly savory with a final vegetal note.
- Creuse Legris: With a minimum farming time of 3 years, it’s a product of the highest quality, winner of the CGA 2020 silver medal. The intensely dark edge of the flesh immediately grabs attention, aided by the contrast with the particularly white mother-of-pearl shell. Initially sweet, it surprises with a crescendo of savory and persistent iodine notes.
- Spèciale Sant-Vaast Cultimer: raised for about three years thanks to the abundant plankton in the sea off the eastern coast of Normandy, they stand out for their good meatiness. Sweet and crisp at first bite, they leave a pleasant and distinctive hazelnut flavor lingering in the mouth.
The event has a limited number and reservations are required. For health reasons or ascertained impediments, communicated promptly, it is possible to obtain a voucher to spend on Hic et Nunc e-commerce or, alternatively, a refund.
